Client Already Exists - Sage
When you try to add a client and get the error that says "Customer Name Must be Unique" this means that a client in Sage already exists with that name. You will then need to sync the client from Sage into SmartPractice and then enable them for the necessary services.
- The following error will occur when trying to add a client that already exists within Sage
- Go to the search bar and type "Sage Synchronisation"
- Click on Search
- Click on the Sage Synchronisation icon
- Search for the client name
- Click on Sync Clients by Name
- The client will then be synched from Sage to SmartPractice
- Go to the search bar and type "Enable Client"
- Click on Search
- Click on the Client Enable / Remove Icon
- Search for the client
- Click on Show Results
- Click on Not Enabled
- Update the necessary details and Services
- Click on Save and Update Client info
- Update the Client Info as needed
- Click on Save Details
